TNA's Best Year ?

it been a long 12 years since TNA arrived in the wrestling business. for sure, TNA had a pretty good years since 2002. but which one was the best in you OP? i'll go ahead for 2006. of course, 2005 had been a very good year fo TNA. but the storyline was not as good as 2006. and the roster was fucking amazing at the time. so what year was the best?

2005. The product knew what it wanted without having to compromise itself to a TV network master and had not yet re-hired Russo. Duthty was still a better booker.

Re: TNA's Best Year ?

I like 2006 the most because it's when I really started being a hardcore TNA fan. Everything was on the up with the announcement of Kurt Angle joining and Christian gaining momentum plus the return of Sting and the phasing out of Jeff Jarrett. X-Division was still amazing and you even had a bit of a hardcore division going on with guys like Abyss, Raven, Rhino, Brother Runt etc. You really didn't know who was going to turn up in TNA next and it was really exciting. I remember speculating with friends about whether or not guys like Rob Van Dam would sign with TNA in 06-07.

2004, 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2012 were all fantastic years for TNA as well.

Re: TNA's Best Year ?

I started watching TNA bout October 09 and that was good but from then 2012 has been the best for me.

If winning is not important...why do we keep score

Roode Austin Aries were amazing that year and I really enjoyed Slammy and Destination - X that year.

I agree.

AMW in their primes, AJ and Daniels in their primes, Team Canada, The Naturals, Team 3.D before they were way over the hill, James Gang, LAX, Norman Smiley and Shark Boy, Diamonds In The Rough, Nash and Shelley (Occasional) and I'm probably missing a couple as well.

Compare it to 2014 where they really only have The Wolves, The Bromans B-Team and The Menagerie

Re: TNA's Best Year ?

I started watching in 2010(Because of Jeff Hardy's return ) so 2012 would have to be the best year so far.

Re: TNA's Best Year ?

I would say 2003, you had that great sex angle, the build up to Jarrett-Raven, the elevation of al styles as a top guy, the maw-xxx series of matches, the super x cup tournament, Styles-low ki title match, styles-raven title match, the styles-d'lo feud, ect.

2003 was great and it was commercial free.
