Re: It's officially six sides
I will admit that I enjoyed the 6 sides. And there is a percentage of people, evidently enough to influence the poll, that want to see six sides. But there are also people who don't like six sides because that is not what we are use to seeing. But isn't the standard ring decent enough? Does TNA need the Six Sided Ring when the cons it brings are wear and tear, and possibly decreasing match quality.
AJ Styles clearly said he didn't want to take another bump from a superplex off the top rope. And when he took a bump in the regular ring he didn't want to go back. Clearly their is a difference.
I will say that it was complete BS to switch to the regular ring right at the PPV without giving the talent enough of an update. As long as actual TNA wrestlers are saying, "Hey, we don't want this." Austin Aries is publicly against the change, and as a fan I want what is best for the wrestlers and not something that looks a little cooler.
Unless they alter their set up so it wouldn't be an issue.
