Re: Why does everyone Assume TNA is going out of business?

To comment on the fans that post here. A lot are very extreme and will defend anything that TNA does and if someone doesn't agree with them they're WWE Fanboys or Trolls or whatever. These are the people so desperate to see TNA have success and they're frustrated that it's never happened.

With the rest of us. We're not haters, at one point we all liked TNA. Bound For Glory 2013 was when I began to dislike TNA and I've taken a couple of breaks from it. It hasn't improved since then and I'm sure others have a notable date where they just thought "Fuck this company" and began just telling the truth without sugar coating it.

A majority of the TNA fan boys are in the red on this board as well so what does that tell you?

I was a big fan of TNA at one point.but 2010 was my first experience really hating the show, then I liked 2011 and 2012 pretty well. 2013 was freaking garbage and TNA still hasn't recovered from it. Aces and Eights is the worst major stable in the history of the business. It was basically Bully and Devon propping up a bunch of guys who weren't any good.

No, it just proves that a lot of TNA fans ignore that the product has been terrible and the audience is dropping. TNA might not be going out of business but it certainly doesn't appear to be doing well. A company like TNA needs positive word of mouth on a consistent basis. They're not in a position where they can afford to put on bad show after bad show and then do one okay to good show.

TNA needs fans buzzing about their shows more than WWE does. TNA has to deliver the majority of the time. They don't have the luxury of being able to to produce a string of bad shows.

People ride TNA's ass because it has to be good.

Exactly. It also proves that nobody likes a fan boy who is 100% positive even when the company messes up.

Tna is not going down
the carters have a ton of wealth. they are being wise and not dumping everything on tna and end up like wcw
they are doing whatever they can with the limited resources
also the new york shows are gonna b great
and we have got new champs who can carry the show forward

please watch the product and give it a chance instead of simply bashing

Re: Why does everyone Assume TNA is going out of business?

Don't you think the reason people are bashing is because they were giving a chance? Fuck we've given TNA a chance for 15 years almost. I hate it when people jump back to the "give it a chance" crap like that's some sign of validation that everything is ok or something.

Re: Why does everyone Assume TNA is going out of business?

A lot of people assume TNA is going out of business based on decisions going on in the company. They've had meetings with their talents within the past year and pretty much said, we're going to see if you're worth the price of your contract. AJ Styles/Daniels/Kazarian/Hogan/RVD/Sting/etc. have all been let go as a result. That shows that they were trying to cut back on costs. Then they went back to the Impact Zone to avoid high costs of taping on the road. Then they shifted a ton of people in the production/creative side of the business and a lot of people left from the offices in Nashville. Basically, all of these pointed to financial difficulties for the company.

Does that mean they were going out of business? Absolutely not and I think a ton of people completely jumped the gun with their assumptions. Financial adjustments and budgets changes are completely normal with pretty much every company big or small in recorded history. Did TNA have some problems for a while? Yes. Have they sorted through the majority of them already? Yes. But it's not a big deal. WWE is currently going through some financial difficulties due to the Network not being as successful as they were hoping. They've cut production trucks, they've stopped sending NXT talents to main roster shows. They even told the production guys that they were now on their own when it came to transportation to the shows. Is WWE going out of business? No. It's the same thing.

I'm not getting the comparison of TNA letting talent go to the WWE letting talent go. AJ Styles isn't exactly a JTG.

WCW guy living in a WWE world.
