People have thought TNA would go out of business for the past 7-8 years. Hasn't happened yet.

Marvelous

Pretty much this. Why have this discussion when TNA will be out of business at the end of 2010...11...12...

I mean saying that TNA will go out of business is like saying the Cubs will win the WS. Each year it does not happen you can just say "wait till next year". And if it happens you can claim to have called it.

TNA isn't a business, though. Its ran by a money mark who is willing to lose millions so his daughter doesnt feel like a failure. If Dixie Carter had a slight bit of business instinct, she'd be working in a high role for Panda Energy like her brother. But instead, she's running a white trash wrestling league that has lost tens of millions on her watch. By normal standards, TNA went out of business in 2009 when they started hiring guys like Hogan, Flair and Bischoff who they had no hope of getting their money back on. 2009 was when they threw the towel in and exclusively got in the business of making decisions based on marking out for ex-WWE stars. TNA isn't like WCW or ECW who lived or died by how well they did. Unlike ECW, TNA has a TV contract that has given them backing. And unlike WCW, TNA doesn't have a network who desperately wants them to fail so they can boot them off the air. TNA exists because of how poor the wrestling business is. TNA is cheap programming for a Network who has had wrestling on it for 15 years. Their business model cant be a success. TNA is a business model anyone on this forum could do the same level of business as the Carters if they had the money. Literally, Hencheman_21 could have done a better job at running TNA if he had the money Panda has had.

what does this have to do with anything. Ted Turner didn't own WCW... AOL Did...

WCW also wasn't run like a real company. TNA is and its obvious that Dixie cares about Profit and Loss.

Great, absolutely great man. This wrestling-site is blessed with good business-minds. Who know exactly how a wrestling-company needs to be run. Why don't you go to Dixie Carter and lay out your strategies or any other company for that matter? With your knowledge and mind you should be putting WWE out of business soon...

Common sense isn't rare in real life you know. Maybe in wrestling, but not in real life.

Their not going out of business, but they certainly aren't getting any more popular. They are just in the same position all the time. If they have survived up to now in that spot they wont just randomly fall.
