Re: Where Does The All-Black Group Go?

I have a question, why do their team name need to relate to their race at all? Does a group of white guys need to be "the white" somethings?

Why is it so important that they have a black world champion? At least bring back someone good like Monty Brown if you're gonna do that.

It's just notable as they're clearly together because of their race, nothing else. They're the only black wrestlers, and they're all in a stable, more than a coincidence.

It immediately addresses the good-ole-boy issue that TNA has had. I don't think they should run away from the fact that all of the members of the group are black and are united in their experience within the industry (and America). If they were to add a wrestler who is white; it would totally ruin the edge in the concept.

That said, the theme can be communicated with a name that doesn't use (celebrate) the word black. The Nation was clearly a group that was inspired by The Panthers and the Nation of Islam and didn't require a name that was explicitly about skin color (like The Black Panthers).

Lashley is much better than Monty Brown. Monty had some charisma and the pounce. That's it.

The Dream.

Its not great but decent. They play on MLKs dream speech. How they should be judged not on the color of their skin but what they have done. Which is rule TNA and have the World title. Saying that their being on top along with a black president means the dream has come true. Plus the baby faces, especially Roode and Aries, can call them a nightmare. Talk about they must be dreaming.

Not sure what you're trying to say here but I don't see how someone can say that Monty Brown is better than Lashley with a straight face.

Jeff Hardy should start a group called the Creepy Ass Crackers.

Each to their own, but I don't think Lashley is very good. No charisma, not great in-ring...
