It immediately addresses the good-ole-boy issue that TNA has had. I don't think they should run away from the fact that all of the members of the group are black and are united in their experience within the industry (and America). If they were to add a wrestler who is white; it would totally ruin the edge in the concept.
That said, the theme can be communicated with a name that doesn't use (celebrate) the word black. The Nation was clearly a group that was inspired by The Panthers and the Nation of Islam and didn't require a name that was explicitly about skin color (like The Black Panthers).
