Way more energy and the crowd made the show ten times better.
Well said. The last few months have been truly abominable. To the point where I was seriously a week or two away from giving up on it. Just terrible.

But Slammi was fantastic and I really enjoyed tonight's show. Even the stuff that's been turning me off for months (the Dixieland vs MVP feud) was vaguely interesting, as there was finally some movement.

I liked EY's run but given that Roode is back (yes!!!), seemingly as a face, Aries and Joe are both being used again (again as faces) it makes sense to have a powerhouse heel champion.

Some great matches tonight, the crowd was hot, the arena looked great (slightly different production values tonight?) and Roode is back. What's not to like?

A great PPV and a very good show don't indicate that Impact is turning a corner, but these combined with the returns of the Hardy Boys, Team 3D and Muta in NY, show that they seem to finally be getting their shit together.

All this complaining how the title change was not on the PPV has me impressed people have such great internet connections back in the 90's and has me wanting to invite them to 2014. The PPV product is a dying one. First it was TNA cutting back from the montly model and then it was WWE giving them free on their network. With the network, people stealing streams of PPVs, some countries giving it away free, people buying them less due to economic situations and a general lowering interest in wrestling it is just like Bob Dylan said, times they are a changin.

Beyond that, why does one need a title change to make a PPV worth it. Sure it is a nice bonus but shouldnt't be the reason to buy a PPV is entertaining matches. Title changes and surprises make them extra special but should not be the main reason to watch.

As far as Dixie she is probably just clueless and feeding her ego but if not she is a GENIUS! She is getting old school heat. If you listen to any of the old timers they will talk about the time before spoilers and fans were so knowledgable when fans would legit hate the heels. Some guys have talked about needing police escorts to leave the arena and fearing for their safety. In an age of fans cheering heels (nWo anybody) it is rare to see a heel really be despised. Now it you have to becareful that the hate is not a go away hate ie X Pac heat. That can be a killer for wrestling talent. BUT for someone who is not a wrestler and can come and go it is great.

We all know TNA is teasing Dixie going through a table and if it would happen it would be great. We would hear one of the loudest pops in recent history if not all time. Every TNA fan would cheer as Dixie crashes through the table and lays there. But that is a moment. Granted one for the ages but slowly the good feelings would pass. Imagine if after abusing her place and garnering more and more heat those she screwed over come back to overthrow her. TNA originals, the Founding Fathers of TNA if you will (just watched The Purge so yea...) like AJ, Daniels, maybe Lethal and heck even the man himself Jarrett standing up to Dixie and echoing what Dreamer said. All leading to a match for control of the company and/or forcing the loser to be off TV (at least a year maybe two or three). Just think of the celebration when Dixies team loses and we know we will be free from her for a LONG time. There would be dancing in the streets. The feeling of relief would be AMAZING! And after the year(s) have passes she can come back humbled and go back to her old role of appearing once in a great while mostly to make an announcment. Unlikely but one can dream.

This week was a lot better than the last month or so, maybe because it was infrount of a decent crowd and it had a few surprises in it but ill take it. Roode is off the chain and is never going to be the same!!! Loved the end of the show new champ and Roode is back!!!

What a turnaround. I didn't skip a single segment, the most cohesive episode of a wrestling show since...I don't even remember when. I was missing shows and about to give up on Impact for good, but if they can keep a hold of this momentum, then I'll be sticking around.

From declaring I was giving myself a break from TNA 2 weeks ago, to this!? What the fuck. Slammi was unreal, and I thoroughly enjoyed this whole Impact. Good to see no doubt, but where TNA lacks is consistency. Lets see if they can hold some of this momentum.

\\Funny i feel the same and ive watched since 2002. I mean i prob would have not given up but i was at the point of fast forwarding through most of the shows. I honestly think the imapct zone is nothing positive for them anymore. The moment they had a show outside of it i became interested and the ppv got me fired up again. Now NYC and all its debuts
