Way more energy and the crowd made the show ten times better.
Well said. The last few months have been truly abominable. To the point where I was seriously a week or two away from giving up on it. Just terrible.
But Slammi was fantastic and I really enjoyed tonight's show. Even the stuff that's been turning me off for months (the Dixieland vs MVP feud) was vaguely interesting, as there was finally some movement.
I liked EY's run but given that Roode is back (yes!!!), seemingly as a face, Aries and Joe are both being used again (again as faces) it makes sense to have a powerhouse heel champion.
Some great matches tonight, the crowd was hot, the arena looked great (slightly different production values tonight?) and Roode is back. What's not to like?
A great PPV and a very good show don't indicate that Impact is turning a corner, but these combined with the returns of the Hardy Boys, Team 3D and Muta in NY, show that they seem to finally be getting their shit together.
