Will Sting lose and leave TNA?

This could be interesting im not sure if TNA is trolling WWE with this but we could see the end of Sting in a wrestling company forever.

He himself said that he talked to WWE several times, but they couldnt come to terms. If he doesnt want to go to WWE he wouldnt talk to them, so its probably just a money thing. If the offer is right he will go there.

yeah ok fair enough I know this but theres still a good possibility he won't go to WWE and be done with wrestling forever? Am I right or not?

I mean, he only returned to TNA because he seen the start of WCW days and wanted to try re-write history. I dont see why my ''forever'' statement was so laughable I don't know why im looking too much into his comment but posts like that really annoy me.

I wouldn't worry too much, even if he goes to the WWE, he will be back in TNA, he will miss wrestling in front of the 200 people that idolize him.

Re: Will Sting lose and leave TNA?

Well, The concept of him either retiring or going to the WWE is basically always talked about at this time each year...Why?

1. Sting signs a yearly contract at this time a year every year with TNA, this always brings up the fact that his contract is coming up "In time for wrestlemania". I dont think he did it on purpose but if he did, its damn smart. It gets his name out there right as Wrestling approaches its playoff season. It gets people talking about him again, even if its always nothing but wishful thinking

2. People want him to compete at Wrestlemania at least once in his career, and they want it to be against Taker...even if the match sucks, even if both are way past their primes, Just that moment when the two Icons of this sport, are in the same ring slowly walking to the center where they glare into each others eye in front of what would be the loudest crowd in wrestling history(Think Seattle's 12th man on steroids)...WE ALL WANT THIS MOMENT, and because of that every year we start praying, hoping, and even would be willing to forge his damn name on a contract for it to happen.

3. We also know that Sting is 54, about to be 55...when you have been getting mail from AARP for 5 years, you are too old to still be wrestling, and his body, while still in great shape for his age, is not what is used to be. Its never a good sign when a guy has to wrestle in a T-shirt...what I am saying is the hour glass is running on Stings in ring career and there aint much sand left...

4. My personal standpoint, TNA has never been able to use him to the full potential of his character...he has had more characters in TNA then Jonny Depp has had characters in movies. You have crow sting, throwback sting(where he acts like he did before crow sting), Joker sting, MEM sting, Hogans best friend sting...good god, how many character changes can they possibly do here...People like me want to see what the WWE can do with him, Not that WWE has been great in the area of writing either lately, but look at the wyatts and tell me that if they wanted to they could not make Sting fully fucking Epic in a lead up to WM storyline

To answer your question, Can this be it for Sting...yes, he has always said that when the day comes that he finally feels too old for this shit, he will finish up whatever story he is on, have one last match and then off into the sunset...just like that he would be gone...Maybe he had a long look in the mirror and realized he could end up hurt at his age...who knows. Personally, if he leaves TNA its because they cant afford him anymore, in which case I would expect him to finally sign a legends contract with the WWE and retire after a short stint there and HOF induction

Re: Will Sting lose and leave TNA?

My guess is that TNA has Sting lose to Magnus on Impact this week. So Sting is now a "free agent." This explains his absence from television for a bit. This also lets Sting figure out just what he's going to do. Either return to TNA at some point, retire, or have a WrestleMania moment or whatever.

If Sting chooses the last two, then it explains why he never came back to TNA. (His contract was destroyed and Dixie the evil boss wouldn't sign a new one)

If Sting chooses the first one and decides to remain with TNA. Then my guess is that the new investor signs Sting to a brand new deal behind Dixie's back. This would then lead to more altercations with Dixie and the new investor.

Re: Will Sting lose and leave TNA?

I don't see it not happening. By now its just when and what happens. If WWE is going to have Hogan and Sting around for XXX holy shit how many part timers can you find WWE? Would Sting have an impact or be a novelty? WWE has been recycling old talent so why not? Sorry TNA I have stood by you for years and I enjoy the product but the writing has always been on the wall. Someone needs to seriously back this company up. All this talk about selling the company.

Sting's promo work the last few years has been great. He has a character that connects with the fans. I would be happy to see him succeed in WWE and I wish the best for TNA and their talented roster.

Someone's gotta pay to put food in the families of wrestlers' mouths and if not WWE then who?
