Creating the next Undertaker. Creating The Streak.

Thats right. No, Dont say we are copycats.

TNA should create an Undertaker that wrestlers fear like the devil. Then create the next legendary 21-0 BFG streak.

And who do I think is Bound for That Glory?

1) Bully Ray - You are gonna say too old, You are gonna say he already has a broken record, well I say gimmicks can be created and memories can be forgotten (depending on the talent of the actor)

2) Samuel Shaw - No explanation needed. I think he can be the next Undertaker.

An Undertaker-type of streak can only bring money to the plate. Bring watchers to the spectacle.

Re: Creating the next Undertaker. Creating The Streak.

I remember Crimson's streak lol. No more streaks, not for awhile atleast. And no one can be the next Undertaker. And if the idea just revolves around being a mysterious evil devil type character, then TNA did that already with Abyss, and he had a Paul Bearer type manager with James Mitchell. They even had a Undertaker/Kane storyline with James Mitchell bringing in Judas Mesias.

Bully is to old for that.

I do like idea of another streak, but I dont think it neceserelly must be a "dark" gimmick. It can be a badass athlete like Brian Cage or guy like Steen.

Re: Creating the next Undertaker. Creating The Streak.

You can't just create the next Undertaker. Mark Calaway was born to play that role, and there's no one out there I would trust in being able to re-create it. Of course I think it's silly that people want to re-create him. Undertaker has solidified himself in wrestling history and is defined by his unique gimmick. Any attempt at re-creating will be laughed at by fans, and not taken seriously. It would fail miserably. It would also be a disservice to Undertaker himself.

Favorite Wrestlers Of All Time - The Undertaker, The Rock, Stone Cold, Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle and Edge

Comparing a Wrestlemania streak to one at Bound for Glory is ridiculous. The idea itself isn't a bad thing but it would never be anywhere near the same level. As for Bully Ray. Like, really? 20+? I think he might have plans by then... like retiring 10-15 years ago!

Re: Creating the next Undertaker. Creating The Streak.

Bully Ray has already been defeated at BFG, and while they can repackage some wrestlers and delete their previous history with the company, I don't think they would get away with doing for a main-eventing ex-world champion. Not to mention the fact that Bully Ray would be 64 by the time they got to 21-0!

Re: Creating the next Undertaker. Creating The Streak.

What about no?

The reason why we don't get fresh ideas and promotions rising in American Pro Wrestling is because the majority of the community is happy with the same old shit and will reject any chance of change. There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Support the indies, support New Pro Wrestling.
