Re: So...AJ vs Magnus

I enjoyed the match. It made me want to see an AJ Magnus feud down the line. Wasn't bothered by lack of one on one wrestling. It told the story of Magnus being a young cowardly heel. If Magnus was a seasoned Heel like a Roode, I wouldn't agree with doing the cowardly path. But since it's his first title reign and being in his 20s, it's fitting.

It's not Magnus having help that was a problem. It was him getting in little to no offense in the entire match that really made him look weak. And to make matters worse, who finishes AJ Styles off? Roode. Not Magnus. Roode. And add to the fact that AJ Styles and a 60 year old man were able to fend him off and about 7+ heels as well for a good chunk of time, making him look even more insignificant.

The post-match videos on YouTube are better than the match itself.

Re: So...AJ vs Magnus

I skipped playing games and doing other things so i could watch the main event and it did not disappoint. When i read the spoilers weeks ago imagined it would be chaos but man o man i was still surprised at everything i saw. I laughed when i read Roode hit AJ with 3 Death Valley Drivers thinking it couldn't be possible but it was

Really interested to see how the wrestling world reacts to this and if it will hurt or help TNA in the future. AJ looked like a beast going out since it took that many guys to put him away, but the main priority should have been making Magnus look like a star which they failed at. He should have atleast done some kind of attack before he pinned AJ.

It's very likely that i'm wrong, but from what i just saw, aj's very clearly cemented as the only credible face of the company going forward. Styles, to me looks like the new 'against all odds' guy no matter how i look at this...

It was aj vs a locker room full of heels that only just barely beat him to keep a title on magnus who, if aj is really gone, has absolutely no one to fight against...too much interference to be a match for the ages, but it was entertaining enough to get me watching regularly again, when, honestly, the only reason i tuned in tonight was to say goodbye to aj.
My thought as well.

Look TNA is in Alabama for the next two weeks. Then it's a month in the UK, then they return in the US for Lockdown in March...wich is the last date AJ has booked on his calandar.

AJ to return for Lockdown?

Re: So...AJ vs Magnus

Magnus is only 240 lbs he's tall and lanky hardly a monster heel or power wrestler.
