Magnus is big but nobody bought him as anything anyway though. Everybody was wondering why he was "The Chosen One" given the level of talent in TNA. A lot of them can speak better than him, can wrestle better than him, have a better personality/character than him and for his size he's not really a Luger-like power wrestler. So with someone that's not stronger, cannot do flips and can't fight technicaly that well, he's just a young guy with potential.

So the idea that you push this guy as champ, he cannot be otherwise than a paper champ. Cause you chose him for two reasons: 1-he's young, 2-got a good body. That's it.

As far as drawing money, it's TNA.

Great heels like Flair could cheat their asses off but still look strong at the same time. Magnus looked so weak that it may as well have been you or me out there.
Magnus will never be Ric Flair, though. He was the best wrestler of his time. Closer to Flair would be Roode. If Roode would cheat that much NOW I would be mad.

This is just a symptom of the cancer that is TNA's version of booking. You know going in that you are never going to get just a good old-fashioned wrestling match with a clear winner. There will always be interference, a wrench hammer, etc. involved.
Also what is the use of having a steel cage when you show guys easily climbing it? Kazarian climbed it in a few seconds to enter the match?

You have to c+p the code after the "?v" part of the URL.

The first Hell in the Cell match in 1997 between HBK and Taker, a huge portion of the match was on the roof.

I was pretty sure aj was gone. Now im confident the whole thing is a very clever work. Even though it's tna, and theyre very obviously most often clueless, or were under bitch and hogan anyway, theres no reason in hell to sell aj as that much of a proper badass right before your 'ppv show' unless aj's planned to make a surprise appearance. It's very likely that i'm wrong, but from what i just saw, aj's very clearly cemented as the only credible face of the company going forward. Styles, to me looks like the new 'against all odds' guy no matter how i look at this...

It was aj vs a locker room full of heels that only just barely beat him to keep a title on magnus who, if aj is really gone, has absolutely no one to fight against...too much interference to be a match for the ages, but it was entertaining enough to get me watching regularly again, when, honestly, the only reason i tuned in tonight was to say goodbye to aj.
