The way it went down made sense according to the storyline. I just wish there was more of a one on one match before the run ins.

With that out of the way, last nights show sucked. Outside the Bully/Anderson segment, the show was an utter bore and the main event was on of the worst things I've seen in wrestling since the Jerry Springer sketch on Raw. I ended up playing Simpsons: Hit and Run more that I payed attention.

But one thing that gets me is that not only was the main event bad, but it was a missed opportunity. Lets compare this to the Mankind vs The Rock match. You know the one. Anyway, Commissioner Micheals was taken out and couldn't interfere. So The Rock comes out and later, so does the Corporation. DX come out to help Foley. Both sides make sure the odds are even and near the end start going at each other. Then Steve Austin comes out and helps Foley win. It made us want to know whats next.

Last night, everyone who could help was laid out, Magnus didn't really even wrestling AJ and the only back up AJ got was a guy pushing 60. And the end result was Magnus winning, with no really drive to watch whats next.

If they wanted to make something out of this whole thing, this is what should have happened: AJ is outnumbered and it looks like he is going to lose. Then the guys who were taken out, come back, injured, but willing to fight and looking badass as hell for it. They fight Dixie's hire goons, while AJ and Magnus keep at it. Dixie herself tries to distract AJ and is accidentally taken out by Magnus. In the confusion, AJ attacks Magnus and gets the pin. Yes, AJ wins.

Two things can happen: Dixie finds a loophole in the not having a World Title and brings out a new title saying that this isn't a TNA World title but the TNA (Insert name here) Title. She tries to hand the belt to Magnus, but another wrestler interrupts and the main event for the new title happens with Magnus winning and the other wrestler feuds with him. Two, Dixie is force to actually buy the title from AJ. She is left humiliated and it leaves her in bad position: The rest of the roster realizes that they don't need to be reliant om Dixie and go into business for themselves. It starts a new status quo were wrestlers or groups of wrestlers cutting out there own "territory" in the TNA structure with Dixie unable to do anything about it and forced to do herself.

They dropped the ball last night in this main event. As bad as it was in and of itself, the loss of opportunity makes it far worse.

What you wrote is way too much. I know it would have been interesting but you're giving wrestling promotions too much credit. They never write stuff this much complicated.

But the thing is, you said the way it went down that people don't want to watch what will happen next. And I beg to differ cause now the landscape is wide open for another babyface the step up and face Magnus and Dixie's system. Imagine Storm getting the case that belongs to Gunner and he goes after Magnus, the sky's the limit of what it could turn into.

I really liked this match. It was such a glorious clusterfuck. Even with so much run-ins, match was very watchable and enjoyable.

Cluster Fuck Match of the Year.

I'd be lying if I said it didn't entertain me. Might have been for the wrong reasons but nevertheless...

I enjoyed the show, but strange booking, making AJ that strong. When i watched the match I got the feeling that the whole AJ contract issue was a work...

Replace Sting with Aries and it would have been so much better.

If Styles comes back by Lockdown, then that's most likely what we're going to get. 1 on 1, Steel Cage.

From a kayfabe standpoint, Dixie had no reason to make this a 1 on 1 match. Her obsession to get rid of AJ at all costs was more than her belief in Magnus winning a 1 on 1 match straight up. That's why she made it No Disqualification.

If AJ isn't coming back this was just about the dumbest thing I've seen any company do in a while... they pretty much told everyone that AJ Styles is too good for the entire TNA roster to handle one on one. If he is coming back to pay this storyline off, then we can wait and see how it all plays off, but if he winds up with Jarrett's new promotion or goes to WWE or wherever, this is yet another example of almost unthinkable incompetence.

I loved the "match" if we can call it a match, people say it was overbooked but is this kind of segments that stuck in your memory forever , they already had a one on one match on the bfg series and this was just another Impact not a tv special so its obious they would keep the real match for a ppv or tv special show.

And for the ones who complain that Magnus losed credibility well he won the title in an dirty way, we must look at him as someone who stole the thing, he was handpicked by Dixie after all, to me this is better than Orton being handpicked by The Corporation and having his defenses clear as the sky.
