Re: TNA Officials Concerned About Their Future With Spike TV & WWE Possibly Replacing

Anyone who is a true wrestling fan should not want this to happen. Even though TNA can be awful at times, at least it's something different and an alternative from WWE TV dominance.

TNA depends on Spike TV much more than Spike depends on them. If Spike were to drop TNA then TNA would most likely die. It's much harder for TNA to get a network deal with another channel because they don't have much visibility, they don't have the ratings a network would want, nor are they a profitable company.

They'll be lucky to get two years if that. Last time they signed a contract with them, Spike expected Impact's ratings to increase and to get Two Million viewers by this time. Their lucky if they get over a Million nowadays.

TNA is just more awful version of WWE.

Good riddance if its gone. Did nothing for pro wrestling.

Paid talents peanuts too.

And maybe, just maybe, they've learned from past mistakes and tha TNA will be better going forward. At least it has been better after BFG.

This is such a vague "news" story, what's the point?

Re: TNA Officials Concerned About Their Future With Spike TV & WWE Possibly Replacing

The point is there's two things that can kill TNA right now. 1. They don't find a permanent residence to do shows as no way can they afford to go on the road. 2. If Spike opts to go with Smackdown as TNA will get the boot and not be able to find a new home as no station will take a chance on them due to how unknown they are and their reputation.

Yeah, it's been the same crap we've seen before. I don't know where people get the idea that TNA has improved as it's still terrible and not worth watching. Only instead of Hogan devoting all the time to himself, it's Dixie.
