Re: TNA Officials Concerned About Their Future With Spike TV & WWE Possibly Replacing

It would be awful if they do go out of business, i am not rooting for any one to go out of business or lose jobs, but if they lose spike its over. No way to salvage it, any company that loses a major tv deal goes under, WCW, ECW. A wrestling company cant function without a tv deal. So if Viacom goes after WWE and they kick TNA out, its over for them sadly

Favorite Wrestlers: CM PUNK, DANIEL BRYAN, DOLPH ZIGGLER, ANTONIO CESERO

Favorite NFL teams: Oakland Raiders, Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears

Favorite NCAA teams: Illinois Fighting Illini, Indiana Hoosiers, Duke Blue Devils

Favorite NBA TEAM: Indianapolis Pacers.

Would the former Fox Sports Net be interested in TNA again? They do get better viewership now than they did back in '04. Maybe Fox Sports 2 since that network is not available in too many homes and doesn't get great viewership. iON TV could be a possibility if Main Event gets off that network.

Eh, even if they lose Spike, it's 2014, there's a bunch of TV networks out there, I'm sure someone would take them. But, naturally, that would mean less money than now, which would mean more budget cuts, etc. And then, TNA would truly live up to the "glorified indy" moniker.

what would people think if there was another network out there interested, but it came with a catch. this new network wanted Hulk Hogan back on TV with TNA. some my ask why the F would a network want that?! Hulk Hogan is still a huge name in wrestling, and while you may not think he helped in ratings with TNA on Spike, word is he did help in getting TV deals overseas.

Try signing talent without a TV contract. Try to build "home-grown stars" when no one ever sees them.

Release the hounds!

I think it's baloney that TNA can only succeed on Spike. sure Spike has been good to TNA, but how has TNA done on Spike compared to other shows on Spike? Spike itself sucks.
I agree Spike does suck, really the only time I watch it is when TNA is on, but even that....

I hope TNA does not Die

But I have to agree if it does die like this, no one will really remember it as its only had a great few years...

and if that happens, TNA has no one to blame but themselves...

If TNA goes under in this way, I hate to say this, they deserve it...

They are shooting themselves in the foot!

The TNA Officials are right!, They SHOULD BE VERY VERY CONCERNED about not only the future on Spike TV, but the future of TNA in general..

The Window and the Door is closing in on TNA and fast

TNA is kinda like the NIT of Wrestling! Mainly a stepping Stone!

That trick won't work twice in gaining another deal.
Ditto, I Second That!

TNA would get SMOKED by WWE in the Crossover...

TNA might win 1 or 2 of the matches, but thats it...

Not Even College Wrestling or High School Wrestling is popular enough either, they tried RPW (Real Pro Wrestling) and I think it flopped!

I think the E will stay with USA, hopefully TNA can renegotiate a long term contract (5 years as opposed to 1 or 3) with Spike....
