The whole thing before they got Spike was that the Carters would put enough money into until they got TV. They were so close to going under in 2004 and again in 2005. There would be no TNA now if WWE hadnt went to the USA network. It saved TNA.
TNA gets their ratings because Spike pays them a licensing fee to stay alive. Without it, TNA make no money. All this "just put them on the internet" and "they would be better off losing Spike" is said by complete nutjobs if you really believe that. Spike are TNA's lifeblood.

what I'm saying is if Spike was no longer an option there could be another network that could do the same for them that Spike has done.
there could be another network shown in more households than Spike is.
for what all Spike has helped TNA with, Spike certainly hasn't helped much in promoting. there are wrestling fans that don't even know what TNA is.
I don't know what other network options there would be, but I think TNA could find network "X" and if that network was willing to take the risk with TNA then TNA could still be fine, or even better.
