The Magnus era has begun :mark: Love him? Hate him? Excited to see where it goes? Discuss everything Magnus ITT.

Magnus is now the youngest TNA World Champion ever (I think). I'm excited to see what he could do and TNA coming to the UK soon is going to be interesting!

I don't think he's ready. I've liked Magnus for a while now and have supported him getting a push, but not to the world title this soon. I think he's talented and has potential--keyword potential. When I wanted Magnus to be pushed, I was thinking more of a slow development that would take a few years. I think this is another instance of TNA being retarded. They read fans say that Magnus was a future world champ and thought that meant to make him champion a.s.a.p.

it fits storyline with what's going on now in TNA. since it was Dixie against AJ Styles, with AJ leaving, you knew it would be a heel champion with Dixie.

I just wasn't as excited with the turn as I was hoping.

even the way it happened. I still got the feeling before the match that Dixie wanted Hardy to make the decision to be on her side, but since he made the decision not to, well then okay Magnus I pick you. like it would have been better to make it more clear that Dixie wanted Magnus all along and not Hardy.

I'm gonna go ahead and disagree. Cause if it was planned all along, Dixie would not have needed to confront Hardy on the mic. And frankly all she needed to do was hire an army of wrestlers that would have handed the belt to Magnus. Everything they did tonight felt like a last minute planning by Dixie's camp. Also the whole "ah ha ha it was him all along" is something that has been overdone in wrestling.

Yeah people in the UK are going to go nuts. I like Magnus he has the look and mic skills but could work on his in ring ability a bit more. I still am glad he won the title because we have already seen Jeff Hardy as a champion. I am curious to see what Magnus can do as a champion. Is it safe to say this is a heel turn? I can't see him being his usual self anymore after the double cross.

I have never heard of Magnum. If this is all TNA have left they will be out of business soon. I expect Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy to be back in WWE soon since it is the only real company.

Im not against him winning but it was way to soon before the guy could again even create his own persona. He will be great im sure but he just doenst have it yet.

Plus the entire storyline going on right now feels so tacky. I think this company needs to rebrand again away from the Hogan era.

Entire product feels more then ever like a cheap wwe version. Not sure why they cant create its own identity again

As far as execution is concerned I thought everything was excellent with all of the backstage promo's and stuff that went on during the match. I'm not sold on Magnus yet but I'll save my final thoughts on him after I see how he performs in the coming weeks. That promo of his is s good start.
