Default Would TNA be in a better position right now if it never brought in Hogan & Bischoff

I always felt, Dixie jumped the gun bringing Hogan and bischoff in. They had just made Russo head of creative without jarrett and mantell, they had gotten rid of cornette, brought in Ed Ferrera. The company was virtually being run by terry Taylor, Vince Russo, and Ed Ferrera they were producing shows especially ppv's that were getting positive reactions and then came hogan and bischoff.

I just thought Dixie could have given Russo and Ferrera more time to show what they could have done before reaching out to hogan and bischoff.

Maybe the creative would have fallen apart but it would have even nice if they would have been given a chance to show what they coud do because they had started off promising.

Who knows without hogan and bischoff there ne'er would have been the embarrassment of the monday night debacle or the money losses of being on the rad. Two things hogan and bischoff pushes for, plus no aces and eights as that was another bischoff idea.

Maybe kong and melissa wouldn't have left, maye Alex Shelley would still be here, ect.

Maybe. Not a significantly better one though because at the end of the day Dixie is still Dixie and their product would still suck.

Yeah, it actually wouldn't act like a PG product like it is at the moment.

Hard to say, we are talking about a 4-year timespan, a lot of things could have happened, but we will never know.

They gained a few new fans in this period, but at the same time, they also lost a lot of old TNA fans. But we dont know if those old fans would've stayed if Hogan and Bischoff wouldn't have come in. There were a lot of fans complaining about TNA's direction in 2009, the only thing they considered worth watching was the Knockouts and the Tagteam division, the rest wasnt very populair back then, so its possible those fans would have left anyway, even if Hogan/Bischoff hadn't come in.

Yes, TNA appeared to have had a plan back in 09 after the MEM disbanded and AJ was feuding with Joe and Daniels over the world title having MOTYC as well as Desmond Wolfe appearing and knocking out Kurt Angle. Interest in them was really high at the time as even Eric Young was being successful with World Elite and The KOs were putting on good performances with the additions of Hamada, Sarita, Tara, Flash, and a returning Roxxi. Matt Morgan looked to be on the verge of being a Main Event player and The X Division was getting back up there and you had a Excellent tag division with the Guns, Beer Money, British Invasion, Team 3D, and others.

Then Hogan and Bischoff came in and got rid of what TNA had planned and put in what THEY wanted and the rest is history.

Playing the "What If" game? You'll never know how it might have turned out so why bother?

This PG product needs less handcuffs&piledrivers and more protein shakes.

Spoilers: TNA without hogan and bischoff would be exactly in the same spot with more money in the bank.

Ratings were better
Attendance was better
Buyrates were better
Don West was still there and aggressively selling merch.

Pretty much this. They took a lot of money and did very little to actually improve the product. They made a lot of changes, but most just alienated the hardcore fanbase.
