What will TNA do with a screen/stage/ramp on the road?

What do you think they'll do on the road for the entrance area? Seems they don't ship their screens and production gear to the UK. I don't want TNA emulating WWE... but I hope they have something for the weekly Impact.

id love to see the "t" "n" "a" on the stage the same as "w" "c" "w" was on the wcw nitro stage.

First off if the costs are to much with the dixitron.Im completly happy with a smaller simplier set. I will say though the rising screens is acutely pretty unque and different to anything wwe normally does. Its its simple at the same time. The entire row of those different lights. Thats also pretty unque. How people will stand in front of it looking like god dam rock stars.

The stage is perfect,The setup with the row of lights where they are broken into 3 sections. So the person can acutely come from the middle between them.Except where on each side it has a horizontal steel set,Where a few lights sit on.If they added Impact Wrestling logos sitting above that. That would make it look so bad ass.Kinda like how WCW had those steel wcw logos on the ramp

I agree a 100 percent that the blue ropes is way to much. I like that the Impact Wrestling logo is mainly white with smaller blue but that doesnt mean they need to have blue ropes.Imagine that theme but with black ring ropes. That would make the entire set so good.Having a white blue banner around the ring then black ring ropes.

Few veriations. I wonder if they stopped doing the rising screens because its tricky and costly. I dont see it being that much more of a pain. Its so unique.

Variation with the lights separated in 3 sections. The best setup.and with the nice horizontal steel a cross on each side of the screen

3 different rising screens at different times.

Sqaure steel around the rising screens. Combined of all 3 of those little details makes a perfect set.Plus Impact wrrestling logo on those steel.

No need for a new stage. This needs to be acutely used.Only been used not even a dozen times. I hope they use those combos. It would be the best stage set since the old nitro one. Which makes the big boys look silly. And black ring ropes

Either way if they continue with that stage or use something much more simple. I will be happy with them on the road with anything really.I just dont see them not using that stage though. They can manage it when its 2 weeks of impact wrestling.

I could see a new show theme song coming. The one they use now is so bad and it would be a good way to freshen up them moving out of the impact zone onto the road.

The open fight night theme is so good.

I like the Dixietron, and I agree, I don't like when the ramp leads right to the ring. If the music and the light show is on point for each wrestler, I don't need pyro, either, but if they used it then I'm for it. I'd actually like to see some Knockouts with pyro other than ODB (though I like hers). Hers and Abyss' are my favorites.

And for some reason, the ring looked so small in Manchester. Maybe it was because of the setup, which was very simple. Everything seemed so close, but I liked how close the people seemed. So I'm in the middle. I don't need an "HD set," just the Dixietron and a little bit extra, pyro optional. Like the BFG set.

And I actually never notice the color of the ropes, even when Vel-Vel is gyrating on one. Black sounds good, though.

Wouldn't mind a simple set up, but would prefer something as opposed to nothing. Perhaps just a screen of some kind in the entrance way...I agree with most that the ramp right to the ring doesn't look good - would prefer just a normal ramp, as when they fight around the ring - they'll have space (and could fight all the way around it if they need to)... Normal ramp, good lighting and a screen. Pyro some nights but not all (make it seem like they have it each week, but when they don't --- make it look like they just need to get the show moving (due to important story-lines/matches that are to occur))...

I like the 3 moveable screens, is is a cool modern look. If they just went with that and built around it with some beams or lights it would be good for 6 moths or so.

Hopefully TNA comes up with something cool for their new road venture and not just the same big screen. You could use the big screen but you have to make a design that is your own.

I could care less about Pyro, I have never gotten the fascination with it.

I don't care as long as the dreaded wheelchair ramp isn't there, unsightly and takes up too much room..

The arena owns those barriers, but nothing stops TNA from buying their own and setting them up. You can see that the WWE owns most of their arena equipment themselves rather than renting stuff out from the arena and production companies.

Concerning the stage, TNA has their stage equipment stored, they can be set up for the shows but please, enough with the wheelchair ramp. I'm sure Hulk Hogan is perfectly capable of going up steps so what is it needed for, Aces and 8's motorcycles?

I never realized how hilarious the ramp is until looking at that shot.

Anyway, I would like to think, set-wise, they'll do whatever they can afford to transport that will fit within regulations for the places they intend to visit. As long as it isn't pink with purple polka dots it doesn't matter to me what colour combos they choose. They could dress the ring up in crazy Zubaz pants style print for all I care. Actually, I'd kinda like that.

Yeah but this is a updated version of that. I like how the row of lights are seperated in 3. So basicly they can come through them up the middle. Instead of coming from the side.

Only thing im stuck between is. If i like the 3 split screens or just 1 big screen rising like in this photo. Anyways this stage set is perfect and all it needs is the name Impact wrestling above those steel on each side of the screen in the air.

Perfect stage set. Like i said just add The Impact wrestling logo above those steel light rows on that hang on each side of the screen in the air. Be the best stage set in wrestling. Better then the so called big boys.

Here is a video of it.Its just perfect to me .Other then missing Impact Wrestling logo on each side.

I assume they will be using what they used for Bound For Glory last year. They always use the same entrance stage for their on-the-road shows, be it Bound For Glory or an Impact on-the-road taping (though Lockdown 2012 was an exception). TNA have been using the same entrance stage since Bound For Glory 2010, except with slight modifications or upgrades. In BFG 2010, they had 3 rising screens showing 3 different videos with a row of bright white lights behind them. That was the first time a TNA entrance stage had any kind of theme to it (because if you remember the intro for iMPACT then had TNA wrestlers in front of a bunch of white lights). When they had the on-the-road Impact tapings in 2011, and they used the same set-up, except instead of bright white lights, they were LED lights that could change color, and it also had some trussing around it to carry the lights. They then changed it a bit for Slammiversary 2012, when the 3 screens were joined together to make one big tron and didn't slide up or down and the row of lights in the middle were pushed back so that the wrestlers could come out through it, and I thought that was a pretty good change-up. Then the biggest upgrade came at Bound For Glory, where they had two big screens instead of just one (I think the second one at the bottom was nothing more than the tron they use in the Impact Zone), but the second one was pretty much a waste because all it did was show a graphic of the deserts of Arizona. If they use the second tron going forward, I believe they will produce a second set of entrance videos for the wrestlers, much like WWE. They also used a new ramp and ramp lighting at BFG 2012, and it looked so much better than the tacky one they use at the Impact Zone, though one change I would make is use the ColorBars that they so randomly fixed all around the Impact Zone set and use it for the ramp instead of the lights that they did use for the ramp at BFG 2012. Also, use a sloping ramp instead of one which leads straight to the ring.

I doubt they'll use the riser stage on the road for Impact. It'll be too expensive to hire and too expensive to move around everywhere.

I think that they will just use the stage with the rising screens at PPV's to make them feel bigger and more special, kinda like WWE does with custom stages for various different PPV's.

I really think they need to invest here. If they're going on the road, the stage and lighting need to look professional and honestly it needs to look impressive.

Visual impact does have a big influence on casuals. When they flip on TNA, they gotta see the stage and lighting and production and think "wow, this looks as good as WWE."

If it's dark and dim, the stage is puny and stupid looking, it won't have the same effect. I hope they understand this and go for the Dixietron with rising screens or SOMETHING of equivalence. It has to look impressive or it won't be considered "good" by a lot of superficial "fans."
