I'm not sure if it's just me, but the old thread has become an absolute pain in the ass to open due to it trying to take me ten or so pages ahead of the actual last page. So to make it easier, here's a new thread.

Old thread for those of you who wish to refer back: http://www.wrestlingforum.com/booker/510932-official-btb-discussion-thread.html

~ No spamming
~ No arguing
~ Under any circumstances, NO "WELL EXCUUUUUUUSE ME, PRINCESS!"
~ You can discuss other BTBs here, it's fine. Don't shill your BTB needlessly, however
~ If you have a question regarding "What Should You Do," just go with your gut instinct
~ Use references like google or onlineworldofwrestling for answers to questions you could easily find yourself

Post away.

It works for the booker too because it's much less strain & stress of writing an entire show with arguably just as much enjoyment. Since it's much less content, bookers can even post two shows at once instead of one long show. Maybe even include some tadbits/interviews from wwe.com to keep interest in between shows. (Just an idea)

Nah, no stress. I'm just having fun writing some stuff so I'm not really stressed by not getting reviews.
Sounds good. I'm actually writing now, going back and forth between three projects. Going well. :trips5

Now...

@TKOW
@Alcoholic
@Emperor DC
@Renegade
@sc2004 (we need DRAMA)

We already have Nige, you (Gards), Wolf Beast, KOP, Szumi, Stojy(?) and JBLoser creating content. Is the BTB Section going to enter a new Renaissance? Plus, we have new writers/bookers as well.

I haven't posted here in like 4 years and no one will remember me but i'm doing a creative writing course at uni this semester and i've gotten back into wrestling, so I decided to write something about wrestling (obvs).

Done NXT rosters and backstory, done WWE rosters and backstory and just finished a Raw. Tried to do it in recap form, still wrote 6,500 words, done it from the Royal Rumble this year. I reckon the roster's rich enough to have a decent storyline going, done the obvious Reigns turn and Rollins return etc. but hopefully it's not too cliche. Will hopefully bring in some indy wrestlers into NXT and WWE too because I wanted to make a created federation but those threads are bullshit and don't ever make sense. Really happy with how it all looks, it's attractive to read and even if it doesn't read very well it'll still look good as fuck.

Aight back into obscurity and writing I go.

I'll actually ask a question - i've got some pretty decent sized writeups for the last PPV's (Takeover and Royal Rumble) before I start writing, and they're rather long. Is it worth posting the roster and shit and then posting the previous results in their own post? I think it looks like it's too much information at once if I post it all together in the opening post y'know?

Welcome back. Just break it up into separate posts; no harm no foul.

Well, I am here .
And I'm not here to ramble about how I'm the next big thing, or how I'm here going to 'take the BTB Section with a storm' coz I don't think I'm as talented as naturally uber creative guys like Wolfy, Szumi, Legend ,619DH, and about a dozen more . I'm just going to try my best to post quality shows here and book the current WWE situation as best as I can . Can't promise or anything that I'll stick with this one, but most probably I will ... as I've got things planned out for Wrestlemania , which if I get to , will be a full show , as I am a huge mark of full PPVs .

Any tips on how to start one of these, I'm interested and feel I have some good ideas but I'm second guessing myself on the execution, I guess my main questions would be, do you guys take timing of the shows into account? how often do you post new shows without it been too much? and do you do the initial write up on word or on WF?

@Alcoholic I can help you out with some gfx if you want?

#5,702 ·
So its up to you on what you want to do with the timing. I and many other prefer to try and keep things realistic and it gets a lot more readers. But if you wanted to, you could have 18 matches on a two hour show if you wanted too.

Post new shows when they're good enough to post. If you've got a stockpile, maybe four or five days or even longer, that's really personal preference.

And again, personal preference, but I like writing on Word or something just so it can be saved.

Overall, just read other threads and have fun writing stuff and telling stories.

Decided to do one, have my introduction and first show written, really hope it's not shit because it took a while to write, not necessarily because of quantity but because I kept second guessing stuff, I'll be posting it on Monday.
