Default ASUS MeMO Pad 7" 32GB Android 4.1 Tablet

My laptop is dead. By dead I mean blue screen, hardware problems, we stuck some firecrackers in it and blue the cunt up. That means that now I need something new for my daily computer usages. I own an Asus laptop for games, so I need something for causal browsing of this site, and a few other forums, as well as youtube.

I have $250 max to spend right now, thus I cant buy a netbook or laptop, however I did see that Futureshop has the ASUS MeMO Pad 7" 32GB Android 4.1 Tablet With VIA WM8950 Processor - Grey on sale for $169, with tax its around $190 overall plus Ontario's green recycling fee of like $5 or 10 bucks. We'll say around $200.

I know shit all about computers and this would be my first ever tablet owned so I was wondering if some of the more technically inclined people could tell me if this would be a good buy? Here are a few more details about the tablet. I'm looking to buy it in maybe a couple of hours? Just waiting for my boyfriend to get home

Perfect for playing, working, and surfing on the go, the 7" ASUS MeMO pad tablet is the perfect high-tech sidekick. The multi-touch display offers vibrant and crips views of your pictures, emails, videos and more. It's powered with Android Jellybean OS so you get speed and agility, and it also features an HD camera for making video calls easily.

honestly...I bought my tablet for similar reasons, but have found that using a laptop for browsing and other shit is a much more streamlined experience. If you're looking to type anything more than a sentence or two, be prepared to want to gouge your own eyes out.

Having said that, if you're looking for a good, affordable tablet...then the Nexus 7 is a good deal. I have a Galaxy Note 10.1, but the price on that is probably outside of the range you're looking to stay within.
