Re: iOS 7 Apple WWDC 2013 Keynote

watched the first half and kinda lost interest...it really seems like theyre doing everything they can to catch up to what android already does. Alot of this stuff wows the apple consumer base because they havent seen anything like this on an iOS device before. Sadly, for Apple, a large quantity of this stuff has already been possible for a LONG time on Android.

The multi screen on mac looks sweet. I have apple TV and I'll be able to use it as a second screen. That has me excited as I'll be able to stream wrestling to my tv and be able to browse the forum AT THE SAME TIME. :ali

Always someone that has to mention Android. Android already have this, Android already have that.

On the other hand, i'm pretty keen for the different looking iOS. Look forward to it!

Re: iOS 7 Apple WWDC 2013 Keynote

why wouldnt anyone mention android? It's a free market, it's fairly obvious they should be competing with a platform that is competing for the same business apple is. Why do people get so defensive when android comes up in an apple conversation?

For me I couldn't really care less tbh. Apple is great, Android is great, you will never convert these hardcore fanboys so no point in arguing

Re: iOS 7 Apple WWDC 2013 Keynote

The thing I don't like about this stuff is that somehow, coincidentally as soon as they release an iOS update like this for the impending new iPhone, the model iPhones they want to super-seed start mysteriously getting very slow and unusable.

My iPhone 4 is a good example, has the stock apps + Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, 10 gb of music (on a 32GB phone), and not many photos, 10+ GB of storage left yet is slow and crashes constantly. Almost forcing me into an upgrade.

It's a shame because I was going to buy a 4S, but if it's going to start cocking up like my current one is while being much newer I'll just avoid the hassle all together.

I guess my theory is pure speculation, but it happens to myself, my sister and a lot of my friends and given Apple's history of designing products to fail after a certain period of time to force upgrades I wouldn't put it past them to have code in there that burdens some of the older technology yet suits the new stuff.
