This is an iPhone thread, so when I say 'not winning people over' in an iPhone thread, I mean iPhone users. Is iPhone market share decreasing?

The fad for Iphone has been diminishing. The Iphone hasn't done anything innovated recently. The Iphone 5 was a huge disappointment all they did was improve hardware a bit and bigger phone thats it (keep the price high though like always)? Apple is to blame for there greedy move instead of improving the camera and redesigning there iOS they get greedy with there maps and kicking google maps out all that has backed fire the stocks have gone down. Apple is going to lose power, but not die there is always going to be the hardcore fans. Android seems to be going up if Samsung comes out with more improvements on next phone its going to hurt Apple more. Also Nokia has been doing pretty well and with the support of Windows 8 they are well protected I wonder how BB 10 will hit how much of an impact it will do in March.

This is a classic example of presenting the statistics in such a way to make Apple look favorable. How are you to assume that the increase in android market share is not due to Android winning over iPhone users? I know a fair few friends who have dumped their iPhones for Android devices.

Apple's market share is the highest its ever been. I didn't present those numbers in any way other than that.

Smartphone tech hasn't advanced much the last couple of years. What goes the GalaxyS3 have over the S2? Higher res screen (that Apple had already), faster CPU, and NFC? The only thing this new iPhone is missing (feature wise) is NFC, the OS is a different story.

Last month I tried the Nexus 4 for a week. I am also tired of the boring iOS interface. But Android has its issues too. Too much fragmentation and the apps aren't as refined, the responsiveness is better but still not even close to the iPhone, video camera was crap and battery life was worse than the iPhone too.

The thing I was looking forward to the most when I tried the Nexus was customizing the homescreen. And even that was just OK, I had it looking awesome but the widgets didn't update half the time until I manually updated them.
