Best HDMI - DVI cable?
I've been looking for one of these for the past few days and have noticed the range in price. I've seen them anywhere between £10-£90.. is there much difference if I pay more?

Re: Best HDMI - DVI cable?
ok, for ALL my cable needs, I stopped using big box stores (best buy, radio shack, etc.) They charge you about 500% what the cable cost. Take a look on http://www.monoprice.com, their cables are solid, and are WAY more affordable than any chain store will ever be.
Every single one of my devices at home that needs a cable is being powered by the cables from monoprice. I dont know if they ship internationally, but give it a check. |

Re: Best HDMI - DVI cable?
Over the years of buying monitors / graphic cards etc I've accumulated various adapters. At the moment I've got a DVI to HDMI converter, it goes straight into the DVI port on the Desktop/Laptop and the other end fits an HDMI cable. I purchased a 5M cable for next to nothing and fished it round to my TV for films etc.
Might be worth looking at an adapter + cable, could be cheaper rather than one actual cable that has DVI one side and HDMI the other. |

This should give ya an idea.
http://www.tested.com/tech/3329-the-...e-hdmi-cables/ Basically the difference is very minimal. You can find many good non name brand cables online and even some name brand ones quite a bit cheaper than in store. |
