AVG Anti Virus the best Anti Virus Program out there
I have used AVG Anti Virus for 4-5 years now and it has never let me down. It is free and very reliable of course their is a paid version with a few more bells and whistles but if all your looking for is a Anti Virus program for every day use the free version is the way to go. I know this forum is usually asking questions but I thought I'd share my knowledge.

I use it too and I think it's the best.

No, it's really not. Panda cloud antivirus, Malwarebytes, and Avast are all better. Hell, you can even make an argument that MSE is better than AVG.

Avast is annoying, Malwarebytes is deffo good, but I don't know Panda Cloud. There are plenty of viruses that can get round the free AVG though.

fuck, i hate AVG. Actually I really cant stand any AV program these days. Over-bloated clients, with unnecessary options and functions.

Guys, what's the best free antivirus? Need to download one.
I'll probably get AVG and try it though.

I got my Malwarebytes back, but halted a bit on this Avast thing because of some mixed reviews I read, and wasn't sure.

Kaspersky, I like it, but I don't try to be an 'anti-virus buff', so it may be frowned upon by people who are more into this stuff. It's not free though.

AVG is garbage. Malwarebytes is good and so is Avast and ESET.
I dont recommend using a full time anti-virus soft running in the background, it's unnecessary process hog(especially NORTON). Just install and properly configure Zonealarm firewall before browsing, use any free anti-malware soft and schedule it for a weekly scan. Its good enough in my estimation.

Avast, in my experience, is more shit than AVG.
