Avast is also well designed and fine tuned over the years to consume only the least amount of your RAM as possible, unlike AVG or Avira.

I used Avast back in the day... like in '03/'04. Worst decision ever. I constantly heard that stupid siren go off and no virus was ever deleted properly, resulting in me either reinstalling the OS, or delving into the registry, system root, task manager etc. to delete the blasted viruses myself. I heard it has gotten MUCH better since v6. I won't know, since nothing as been able to do any real damage since I started using NOD32 (no it is not a plug).

Avast is good but it tries to do too much shit. Just protect my fucking computer and stop the other unnecessary shit.

Like playing an audio speech every time you update. Put that in a notification bubble like the other programs, protect my computer and fuck right off.

AVG is easily the worst Anti-Virus, free or paid that I've tried, everything registers as a false positive.. except for viruses which it doesn't detect at all in my experience.
