Ok so I noticed a dark line like shadowy on my Vizio 47'' HDTV but when I unplug it from the surge protector and plug it directly to the wall I don't see it. Has anyone else had this problem?

heard and seen it before. Could just be a bad surge protector with the tv. Depending on the type of surge protector, if its just outlets it could be slightly off on its amp/wattage. Some surge protectors that have additional inlets such as phone lines, audio cables, coax cables, etc and sometimes begin to cause noise from one line to enter into another.
