Now I've been wanting to get a Nexus 7 for a while now but after recently hearing about the rumors and strong proof that they are bringing out a 32GB version, I've decided to wait.

But this got me thinking do you guys have tablets? If so which ones and would you recommend a different one for myself?

P.S the iPad Mini looks pretty good but WAY overpriced

the problem is that tablets in general are severely overpriced. I think if we learned anything from HP's Touchpad, it's that the proper pricepoint for a Tablet should be about 300 dollars less than what it is. Those things fucking FLEW off shelves when they sold for 99 bucks.

I decided to plump for a Nexus 7 32GB, fucking awesome, need to find a way of being able to watch my videos that are stored on my hard drive from my computer (Ala TVersity for Xbox 360)

Honestly, I'm not the biggest fan of tablets. I had an iPad for awhile and I didn't really use it that often. Had it jailbroken for emulators and that was about all I used it for. Didn't like typing on the touch screen on forums. Personally, I think I'm just going to stick with laptops. I like them a lot more than tablets.

The ultra book that Intel makes fits both your needs. It's worth a look

True. I have one and it's pretty great but I agree, it was overpriced before the firesale.

Installed CyanogenMod 9 and Ice Cream Sandwich on mine and it runs very very well. You can pick up 32gb Touchpads new or refurb for as low as 200 bucks from time to time and vendor to vendor. Not as cool as the 100 firesale but still worth it for the screensize,performance,and storage imo.
