I bought a phone from Best Buy last August, and got their protection plan through Geek Squad. The phone was an HTC EVO, and this September, I dropped it and the screen broke. Best Buy replaced my phone for free, but I had to wait for Geek Squad to check to see if they could fix the EVO. I was given no real choice in picking the replacement, and the guy at Best Buy just got me a%n HTC EVO 4G LTE. I liked the phone, but it crashed within 40 days and I had to have it resent out. This time, there was not even a possibility of getting a different phone. I was given a second HTC EVO 4G LTE, and I am wondering if this was a good phone? I don't know much about phones except I go through them like underwears.
(in the mean time, I had to deal with one Best Buy employees incompetence, ruining my life for 3 solid days. When my phone was switched over, he messed up somehow and didn't get my credit card information on file, for the monthly payments. I went all the way to Best Buy to have the issue fixed, and they told me I needed to call 1888bestbuy. So I left the store, headed home and was on hold with them the whole time. It took almost 45 minutes before I talked to a human being. She told me that my issue needed to be resolved IN STORE! and then asked if I would like to take a satisfaction survey. Sure, I'll take your survey
I went back to the store, and the two girls there did a fantastic job to fix my issue, and I was able to alter my GSP plan and went to change the GSP # on my work order through Geek Squad. I get to the counter and the hilarious "Geek" said the store had misplaced my phone, and since it was not under protection at the time they were not responsible. I knew another one of the store employees and convinced him to look for me, and the two of them went and found it. The "geek" came back and said "it was in the last place I looked!" well no shit!)
