Here is my problem. My PS3 gets knocked offline a lot and some times it I have to restart it several times before it will even log on to the PS network. This seems to happen more during colder months, strange coincedence. But the thing is my Wii never has a problem getting online and staying online. Neither are hooked up by wire to the internet. Is anyone else having this problem with their PS3?

Maybe I need a stronger router? Maybe there are hidden settings on the PS3? I've tested the connection on the PS3 and it's all good readings. I just don't know why the Wii has no problems and the PS3 does. Any help is appreciated.

is there any way you can connect to to a wired connection, even on a shitty tv just to see if its the wireless antenna and not the entire PS3 itself? I'd probably start there to troubleshoot the issue.
