meh, really just a money grab by apple. Theyre aiming this sooner-than-it-should-be release of the iPhone 5 at the people who NEED the newest phone, even if it's only marginally better/different than its predecessor.

Apple released an iPhone 4ss not an iPhone 5. I have no interest in it. I've upgraded in two year lots (with my phone contract) all the way from the first 3G to a 4 but I'm not upgrading now. I'll just get my home button fixed for $60 and call it a day.

Extremely disappointed. No NFC despite having internal room for it is ridiculous because they're just going to add it next year with the 5s. Apple reverted from innovation with their design upgrades to money-grubbing, stunted updates to make the NEXT update even more in demand.

The phone looks DOPE. This is coming from someone who has never had smartphone before, I've been holding out for so long but I plan on picking this thing up because it looks great.

-Bigger screen.
-Better resolution
-LTE
-Better camera
-Better battery life
-Extremely fast processing
-Aesthetically stunning

People will complain, but this phone competes with the top phones on the market. It may not be crushing the competition but its definitely a quality phone.

Unfortunately LTE is almost irrelevant for Australia as only two networks are capable of supporting it and they have extremely (and I mean extremely) limited 4G coverage. So the biggest drawing point of the update is completely lost on me

I was really excited for it tbh, I really wanted to get one but now I just can't justify it.

I think LTE is mostly irrelevant for a good portion of the world still. It's a fairly new technology, and tbh, the way companies are rolling it out, it doesnt have me very encouraged. Sure, it's fast, but theyre just taking their sweet ass time (at least my provider is) to offer LTE in major US markets.
