Is it legal to download Youtube videos? If so how is it done?
Just wondering how a video on youtube can be downloaded, if it's possible or legal that is.

There are add-ons for Firefox that allows you to do that. That's what I use.

Also a program called JDownloader. That is how I download youtube vids.

Ya, that's the best one.
I remember hearing in class one year that it's actually legal to download, but it's illegal to upload?(sorta like for video games, how it's not illegal to buy a game early, but it's illegal to sell it early) Don't know about youtube, but I don't see how ripping videos from it should be illegal.
The speeds for JDownloader I usually get on youtube range from like 1-2MB per second. I actually did that for Raw one time, and it only took a few minutes(around 500mb)

I heard the same, but I look at it like this, Tons of people download stuff rather by phone, laptop, computer, ect and I been downloading anything from movies, tv shows, to wrestling since 2006 and I always use JDownloader for the downloading. That program is the best and can download from any downloading site, yes, including dirty ones.
