Because I have noticed whilst using Chrome that the quality of streaming has started decreasing. Like it slows down my computer MUCH more than it used to. I might reinstall Chrome. But which browser is best for streaming?

I don't think its the browser that would be at fault. I use Chrome and stream a lot. Its really just dependant on your internet connection and PC. As far as your browser is concerned just clear cookies and cache periodically. update flash. Other things can slow you down like firewalls, torrents and anything else that might be using up your bandwith. I find this program good for maintaining your pc: http://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER it does pretty much everything for you at the click of a mouse.

Shouldn't bear much of a difference tbh. The only time I seem to find a difference between streaming on Firefox and Chrome is when I loaded one of the two with add-ons. Is Adobe Flash up to date on your computer? Do you regularly clear your cookies, cache and temp files? Where you recently attacked by a virus? If so I suggest you get yourself good registry cleaning software and reinstall Chrome just to make sure. Personally I always use Chrome, streaming is great.

Ultimately, I haven't noticed much of a difference. I generally prefer to use Chrome to stream with since in my case it can barely do anything but surf so it tends to be a bit quicker and much lighter. I use Firefox for my main browsing with a million addons and plugins so wouldn't use the same browser to stream.

Failing Chrome for just streaming, I'd use Opera. General rule; use any different browser if you're surfing at the same time too.

honestly its more FLASH than it is chrome or a browser-related issue. I said this in another thread, flash is really in the beginning stages of it's death. It'll be gone within a year, and HTML5 will have taken over flash's old role. Flash, on any browser, is becoming increasingly unstable for me lately, and overall results in a sub-standard user experience.

It's also wise to make sure your internet connection isnt at fault, but to be quite honest, if you can download fine, and play games online fine (not saying you do, just making a general statement) then you should be ok.

not really sure what is meant by this. If you're referring to the fact that using the same browser to browse and stream creates some sort of unfriendly lag, it's worth noting that Chrome runs EACH TAB as it's own process, to prevent such issues.

Mozilla works good for me.. EXcEpt a few websites I visit, for some reason when I try to watch videos on them they lag up my entire computer. But overall it works good

Agree, flash player is crashing all the freaking time of late, especially if I'm streaming/buffering 2 or 3 things at once in the same browser

I'm all over this new 64 bit IE9. I've tried Chrome, Safari, Firefox and older IE and none have matched this IE9 for my computer. Streaming and cam video quality for cam whores and Skype phone calls and things like that is markedly, remarkably better with IE9 in video quality and speed.
