When I try to save GIF's it says 'Unable to finish GIF Optimization process' Anyone know what the problem is? and does anyone know how to select loads of clips instead of just deleting one at a time? Thankyou..

I made a thread about this not too long ago and no one was able to help.

And are you asking how to deleted multiple frames at a time? If so, just hold down shift and select from the first frame you want to delete to the last.

Thanks! xD I feel so stupid now lol. I hope someone replies to this thread with an answer for BOTH of us.

I don't think much has changed on the update of Ulead 5. Do either of you get a error signature that actually tells you where the problem is or what caused the crash? If so you can follow the steps on this guys site to trying to resolve.

A window just comes up saying 'Unable to finish GIF Optimization process' and makes a weird sort of error sound. Its when I try to save it, preview it etc. Its annoying cause I can't save the GIF's i'm making. But i'll check the link and get back to you

Found the answer.
Hope you read this.
Goto File>Optimization Wizard (F11)
Right there in the very first question, choose 'No' Select this option to keep a Local Palette for each frame.

Once you do that leave everything else default and finish the wizard, you will then see it optimize, and then you can choose to save it as a Gif, or whatever.
