Could anyone explain how to install games on a psp. Do I need to download any software or how does it work.

I think that you have to downgrade your firmware to 1.5 first then you can put them in, each game is about 500MB. I've tried it but i couldn't downgrade my firmware, theres a program that does it but if you use it then if it stuffs your PSP (which 75% of it does) then it can't be used for warranty anymore.

Where do you get your games from Johnny? 500mb is nothing O_O because most of my good games are around 1.2-1.8GB. eg MGS:PO is 1.29gb, gta:lcs is 1.16gb, svr08 is 1.66gb, manhunt 2 is 1.2gb, and the newst game I have is GoW which is 1.49gb

But anyway, downgrade your firmware first to 1.5. Use this guide; http://forums.qj.net/f-guides-hacks-...are-90919.html If you are on anything above 2.50, you need to downgrade using Pandora's Battery.


Then, get yourself custom firmware. Follow this guide; http://forums.qj.net/f-psp-firmware-...on-134053.html

With custom firmware, you can 'install' games.

its not "install" game lol (white 360) you download it to your computer and send it to your psp via usb

i got one of my games from a torrent (Fight Night Round 3) it was only 500MB and worked perfectly fine!

That's bloody small for a game.
Is it complete/Does it work properly, or are there bits that you can't play?
500mb for a game now is practically unheard of!
