Actually it can yield quite different results depending on the server you are pinging to. Now that they automatically find the most legitmate server via ping it is no longer necessary to mess around with locations, but like I stated before, some of the servers they use to test off of aren't all equal. I have yielded results 3 to 7k different in download and over 1k in upload before.

youre right, but in my experience when trying multiple servers across the world, results don't typically vary too much.
