I used the new version with three different videos on youtube, and all of them were received with an invalid URL.

Are you copying the URL correctly?
It must look like this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYTJooXcG6g
Don't click the link, I just copied the first URL I saw on YouTube. But that's how it must be when you enter it in vDownloader. |

Okay, I have tried both versions, and both of them say they cannot download. The first one says the IP is not supported, and the second one says that the IP is invalid. The second one managed to download two, but after that, failed.

everytime i try and download a video it says its not a valid address and that an error occurred. am doin it right? I download the file, unzip it to a folder and double click the vdownload program and it opens up, i enter the correct url and then nothing

^^Are you following the instructions exactly? You need to install both programs.
One is vDownloader and the other is a codec.

but thats the problem, they both seem to be ready for use just after unzipping them, no need for any installation

vDownloader is ready for use. It doesn't install. That's why i said you save a shortcut of the program to your desktop and when you want to use it you just click on it.

nope. still not working. i double clicked on the other file and it came up for a second and then closed. still comes up there is an error, video cannot be downloaded or doesnt exist
