So does anyone know a program where you can convert DVD files to mpeg's etc. ready for uploading?

InterVideo DVDCopy5 does the job. I use it to convert DVD files to avi fiels to use on my iPod. It's not free so you'll have to look for it in the File Exchange, if it's there, or get it from a torrent site. That's how I go it.

I use Bitlord, but others prefer Azureus. Use them both then decide.

Thanks man... The only thing that bothers me is the resources in Azureus... I can't try to get it to search for them... Plus, I want to download stuff to my external hard drive, but sometimes it shuts down and Azureus doesn't start the download again.

You can download videos from Dailymotion using the same program that's in the first post about ripping 'youtube videos'. Just change the Youtube to Dailymotion.
