I know I'm double posting (sorry), but I wanted to bump this so that people could see my question.

I'm trying to download GAB onto a DVD-R disc, and have been successful until the last minute after all the matches are done. It says:

Illegal disc
D: _NEC DVD_RW ND-2510A
Could not perform start of Disc-at-once

Can anyone help me?

I'm using Nero Express 6 and Nero Vision 3.
Is that right?
I can't seem to get it to work for me. the options shown in the first post such as "Make you own DVD-Video" aren't there, Do i need a later version of Nero Vision.

Anybody know what it means when it comes up with the abort error "Power Calibration Error" when burning with Nero? How this can be rectified would be good also.

Thanks

Spotty Wrestlers and Spotty Wrestling has made Pro Wrestling worse. For the most part, people cant get the crowd all riled up without killing themselves in the ring. Im sure the fans respect them and say thank you, but they will not be there to push around someones wheel chair later in life.

Thanks
I found this via a Google search.

Power Calibration Error In Nero Fix (hopefully)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This might be some help to all you guys out there which are having problems with this power calibration error. What I know is that the CD burning engine which comes with XP was developed by Adaptec (I might be wrong so please dont hold me to it). So here's what to do and most of your problems hopefully will be solved. This is the easiest way to tell everyone.

on Desktop click Start
select Control Panel
click on Administrative Tools
click on Services
browse your way down to IMAPI CD BURNING COM SERVICE
right click (on IMAPI) then select properties
in the middle of the window, it will say start up type. Click on the arrow to the right and select disabled.
make sure you click APPLY

Thats it folks. You should notice that Nero starts a lot faster as well.

Please leave any feedback here just to see if it worked for you or not.
Hopefully it will. Thanks matt3678

I've had a few problems with burning AVI's to Nero recently, especially with the sound. I burned a NOAH ppv to DVD and when I played it there was no sound at all(This was on XP). And this week when I burned iMPACT to DVD and played that, the sound was out of sync(This was on Vista).

Any kind of help would be great.

When there is no audio there is usually a missing codec or nero plugin. Google "no sound in nero" and you'll find you answer probably, if not, what you can do is extract the audio using goldwave (converting to wav) and just encode it with tmgpenc. For the second part, I hear it's not good to burn it with nero after encoding, as there seems to be audio sync issues sometimes, just encode first, and then burn it with imgtool burn it's a free little app that works great.
