I use Imtoo MPEG Enoder for ALL of my video conversions. It will out put any format there is just about except a few things like MKV files..

@Styles619 click the video options button and look around for video quality setting and choose automatic. This will shrink it enough to fit on the disc but you will loose some slight quality.

Anyone recommend a way to burn Avi's faster? It takes me nearly 4 hours to burn a movie I download coz it needs to convert into mpeg2. Plus, i wanna make sure i keep the 5.1 channel sound coz the video i download has that capacity. Nero 7 doesnt do that for me and it comes out 2 channel.

Well I downloaded this Plugin from Limewire. Its fairly risky though because yeah its limewire. It might help you, It might not. Just trying to help a little. Sorry if this isn't any help to you.

I got Imtoo Mpeg convertor but my problem now is which Mpeg should i burn it in? I need to keep the 5.1 channel preserved and burn quicker.

Quicker? It has to convert it from an avi/mpeg to a DVD, These things take time. How fast do you want it to take.
If you want it faster, upgrade your PC, that's a sure-fire way to make it faster.
It doesn't take me 4 hours.

Using Nero 7 takes me 4 hours to burn and I got a pretty decent laptop with 1.9 ghz. Anyways, I used ImToo and found a crack but oh my god the voice sync was off by 10 seconds by the time i got to the end of the movie. Ill just stick to Nero...

I got a normal PC with a 3.o GHZ and it takes me about 2 hours to do a movie. I burn slow as well.
