Chrome may need to be updated, click the and then "About Google Chrome" and just follow the instructions.

This has been happening with the latest Firefox as well. I don't think it's just your side of things. Either the latest updates for some browsers or the latest update for Flash is causing a bug. Just wait for a bit and it will hopefully resolve. You should have an option to run Flash anyway, despite it being perceived as outdated.

Had same issue last night, ended up uninstalling Flash then clearing Registry, had a weird issue where the new download would show a blank screen for the download Manager then, when I closed it, it reloaded in IE and showed just a background screen remaining unresponsive; finally managed to get the new download to work after editing IE's options which oddly loaded back to a firefox screen for the Adobe site to download all over again!

Adobe Flash is being blocked by most Browsers due to the fact of so many exploits, in which hackers and corporate maleware breed from. One article I have read stated a top security analysis from Facebook (i do belive may been with a different company) came out with a statement the risk adobe has adopt with the recent attacks and bank breaches. Sites like YouTube have switch to HTML5 which doesn't require adobe flash.

As most tech savey ppl, has always known the potential of such attacks and maleware since 2001. But have worked around or use other means to keep from being attack. Just for some reason now the media has finally caught on.

If you have the chance, look it up through google, as there are more articles on this subject.

As for installing in on your pc, just save install to a certain folder and click the step up icon, should be an option to install on all programs once installation begins. I haven't used adobe for awhile so it may have changed since.

Re: "Adobe Flash Player was blocked because it is out of date."

The Facebook articles were of Mozilla refusing to allow Flash as an add-on and they blocked version 18.0.0.202 but Adobe have since released a fixed version that installs and Mozilla doesn't block - version 18.0.0.209
