Can anyone recommend a good Dumb or Smart Tv for under 300$ USD?

Basically here's what I'm looking for. A tv to watch Netflix, YouTube and WWE Network and play video games on. I have a PS3 with these things on it already, but I don't want to run it all day and getting hot. So I don't mind getting a dumb tv if I can get a roku or Amazon fire stick. I don't mind that. I want to have at least a 32 inch but if I can get a 40 inch dumb tv and just add on the streaming stick I'll be fine with that too. The stand is something to consider because I will be putting it on a small
Nightstand. I would like it to have its base in the middle, but I don't mind the tvs with the two stands on the side if it's worth the money.

I'm trying to shoot for under 300$ streaming stick included but am willing to pay as much for good quality. As far as my research, Samsung seems to be the best brand, followed by Vizio and LG. So far I can find nothing on Vizio supporting the WWE app, which is disappointing, but it does have a QWERTY keyboard in the remote, which I do like because I will be surfing the internet on the TV. I do not have a working computer at the moment.

So far this is the best smart tv deal I've seen:

My friend has a 40 inch Samsung smart tv which looks great and has all the apps I need. I feel secure knowing it will be good quality, but I know after taxes and buying an extended warranty, it's going to come out to 350$-370$, so it isn't really a 300$ tv. I like the stand for what I will be putting it on.

Now these two dumb tvs look promising, but I must admit I am a novice when it comes to TV sets.

Now the first one is Sony, so I'm sure it'll be good quality just like the samsung. But both have the wrong stand, they're both 720p, and while I don't think that would be too much of problem, Is it even worth my time going through all of this trouble or should I just buy the 300$ smart samsung and call it a day?

There's also this Vizio:

But like I said there's no Wwe network on vizio as I know of and there's no sense in getting a smart tv and set top box, but I guess I could compromise and use my ps3 for WWE and games, and the tv for Netflix, YouTube and internet.

All in all I'm just very confused on what to get. It seems like I'm scrambling to find the best deal but in the end will only save a small amount of money, 50-60$ maybe. If left to my own devices I'd be going back and forth on the smart samsung for 300$ or the smart Vizio for 260$ untill making a last minute decision, but I know I'd probably just be equally as happy with the dumb tvs and a roku/amazon stick, I'm just snobby when it comes to new technology I want the most high end shit, even though I am poor.

So as you can see I'm incapable of making my own decisions. Which tv should I get or do you have a better suggestion? Also I need to buy a HDMI cable which will probably be around 20$. My main dilemma is trying to a snag the best deal while keeping the costs low, warrenty, streaming stick and HDMI cable included.

Thanks for any help. I won't be making a decision soon, but in around a month or so. Still doing research.

P.S. How do you feel about refurbished or open box TVs? Some people don't trust them, others think they are a better option because they are tried send tested and offered at a discount. There have been some horror stories of people receiving cracked or broken unusable refurbished tvs. If this is due to it being refurbished or due to shipping who's to tell. Probably, because refurbished products are suppose to be sold in like new condition which to me doesn't mean broken. Also have to consider the warrenty which it probably doesn't have, although it's a tried and tested product so it should have less chance of breaking down than say a brand new tv with an unknown defect.

P.s.s. what's up with chromecast not carrying the wwe network? They gave out chromecasts at the network launch party

Non smart TV
smart tv

Don't get open box especially with HDTVs, there is probably something wrong with it.

720 for a TV that small won't matter since you cant tell the difference of a tv under 50 inches (between 1080 and 720) if you are sitting a normal distance from the TV ( 10 feet).
If you are setting like 2ft then yes you will be able to tell.

If you want a good deal on a TV go for a new HDTV but a year or two earlier. Thats the best bang for your buck.
If you want find a good deal on a 2014 tv instead of 2015

Also make sure you have enough HDMI ports on the TV. Some of the smaller tvs may only have 2 you will want at least 3 or 4.
