30 or 50 would be a good number. Some people literally create new accounts just to create troll topics.

Re: Minimum Post Count for New Topics?

I think we should make a camp and put all the new members in it. If we concentrate we can make this work!

As long as there's a Triforce, there will be a Zelda;
as long as there's a prosperous kingdom, there will be an evil bent on destroying it;
and as long as there's an oppressive force threatening Hyrule, there will be a boy...

in a green tunic, silver shield, and magic blade to stand against it.

Yup. Probably about a 25 post minimum before you can make a thread. Good idea.

Re: Minimum Post Count for New Topics?

If users are spamming to be able to make threads then they make themselves pretty obvious to staff members in the process.

It's like people who spam to get access to the media section.

Re: Minimum Post Count for New Topics?

I like the idea of not being able to create a thread without having 50 posts or so.

I also think that you shouldn't be allowed to post unless you have at least 25 posts.
