Hey,I don't know if it would be possible on this type of boards but you guys should really think about implementing a alert system, kind've like the one you have on Facebook.IGN.com use a system designed after it on their forums and it works great,basically it'll simply let you know when someone has quoted your comment,or posted in a thread you made.

I asked about this months ago, apparently they see it as a completely useless system having no value to anybody on here.

Dude, take your head out of your ass. You have absolutely no idea what you're taking about.
This system does exist and is very useful, unfortunately it is not available on the vBulletin software that VerticalScape has installed for this forum as of now they aren't willing to upgrade to a newer version. The servers probably can't handle an upgraded software anyway.
