I have been a member a long time, and like to think I pull my weight and even post helpful topics, interesting discussions.

Quick question, is there anywhere in the site I could advertise my new site? myself and a group of lads are putting together a UK based review site and would love for people to like my page and help join in on the discussions, reviews etc...

Advertising in your sig is fine enough. Making a thread/post and such to advertise is considered spam. If you post enough in the VG section, then people will see it anyway.
