I'd like to have a sub-forum in the sports section, solely dedicated to MMA discussion. I realize that there's already an MMA Forum by Vertical Sports but there are quite a number of consist posters here and a mini section dedicated to itching talk about the world's fastest growing sport would be great. Thoughts?

Not going to happen. Like you said, there's already a whole vertical scope forum dedicated to MMA. It's not in their best interests to add an MMA sub section so a few members can discuss it on a wrestling forum when they have www.mmaforum.com that they want to be active.
