You can use them to "buy" banners/avatars/gif files if you want too, secondly you can use them to get access to certain files such as donating an amount of points for a TV Show Season etc..
But the main fact is that they are for show.

Damn too bad you can't buy membership with them lol, oh well, thanks Lil Wayne and Rajah Hindustani.
Also another question, when I try to reply, where are the buttons that help you change the color of the text, links, change font, size and all that, it's not in quick reply or New Reply but I swore it was there yesterday.

A while ago, I'm sure (though, naturally, I may be wrong)I saw an option allowing me to put a line through a word or phrase. Where can I find this option, so that I can cross something out? Btw, this is not so someone doesn't see something, I have heard about the Backspace key.

It's still an option. When you want to cross text out do the code [s]text here[*/s] but just remove the star and it'll work.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions & Issues. *READ*
I hope it's not too newbish a question, but, as I would really love to be able to search the forums, I've been wondering for a long time whether the search function could at least be made available to Premium members?
As I've seen many forums of similar sizes, I wonder how their search features are able to cope whereas the one here needs to be kept closed? I notice the line at the bottom of each page saying 'Search Engine Optimization by vBSEO 3.0.0 RC8' and wonder what kind of optimization it is they provide if the search function gets overloaded to the point that it can't be implemented?
Many thanks for any answers you can give (and hopefully any light at the end of the search tunnel!)

The reason teh search function has been removed has been explained many times, and in the opening post for this thread. Nothing has changed.
It's not as simple as just turning it on.
