you can block it on the desktop with an adblocker like ABP.
Fairly sure there's a way to kill it in the ACP, as there's a few other places that have removed it now. Probably takes some direct modifications of the code though.
Unfortunately we have to keep it at the top of the page because we are still getting emails and PM's from members who are locked out of their account from the June chaos. I got a PM today and a couple emails earlier this week.
Can't they just enable it for people who aren't logged in and collapse it for people who are? I mean, if you're logged in, that message is pretty much just a waste of space. Another VS forum I'm on it's collapsible.
I just made a new account since I didn't really like that username anymore anyways, I usually just go with my name for username now.
But why I don't understand about the notice is telling you to PM one of the moderators. But if you don't have access to your account how are you supposed to PM anyone?
3) If you did not receive a password reset e-mail and are unable to change your password using the forgot your password function because apparently that isn't working all the time either, make a new account and immediately PM Headliner, Platt, JM and/or seabs to get help with accessing your locked account.
What notice on the top of the page? I haven't joined this forum for a long time so I'm not aware of the changes made in the past :\
