Redircted to Java Scam

Since last night, I keep getting redirected on this site to a scam site that's asking me to update Java. Is this happening to anybody else?

Re: Redircted to Java Scam

I get all kinds of weird redirects while using my phone. It's a joke.

I was thinking about making a thread about this, because I've been noticing it a lot the last week or so. So I decided to refresh my computer and see if that works, unfortunately I'm still getting it every once in awhile. Its not the end of the world, I don't ever download anything.

But it is nice to know its not happening to me only.

Hey Now... Enjoy the show.

Re: Redircted to Java Scam

I haven't gotten it yet today (just logged in, though), but, I have had many days where I have gotten it again and again. Rather annoying.

It happens to me at home, where I'm using Firefox. If I use Chrome, it doesn't happen.

Re: Redircted to Java Scam

I use chrome and nothing has happened to me yet? If your using phone then that happens a lot with all the adds put on apps to make money. I'm on chrome on my laptop and it seems to be fine. So if you use this forum on your pc I recommend using chrome and you should be okay.

Re: Redircted to Java Scam

Yeah, this has been happening to me a few times recently.

In the past, I've used HijackThis and was able to delete it under the name 'Google Update' or 'Chrome Update'. But it returned a few days ago and I can't seem to find it.
