dude he's gonna be doing something like texas a&m vs bama(not sure if that's actually on a espn network) and go "you are looking live at Katherine Webb's tits.
CBS will get that game, be their first Saturday for their SEC coverage.
Meanwhile, the word is Time Warner Cable, DirecTV, and Dish all came to agreements as FS1 backed off on their request for 80 cents per subscriber. For now, the deal stays with 23 cents, which is what they got for Speed. So 90 million homes will get FS1 on August 17. BTW, ESPN gets $5.50 per subscriber with their agreements.
A disturbing trend taking place at ESPN. Nate Silver, one of the liberal flame-throwing bloggers from the New York Times, is coming to ESPN and will be a contributor to Olbermann's show. Also, the race-baiter Jason Whitlock apparently is returning to the Mothership. Interesting to see if he and Lupica kiss and make up, BTW.
Here's the thing, I don't give a shit about political posturing whatsoever when I'm watching the news channels. When I watch sports, I don't want that shit on my TV. If Silver, Olbermann, and Whitlock are going to do that, I have no interest in what they have to say. I know Olbermann's contract says he can't discuss politics, but he is somewhat of a loose cannon that has burned bridges everywhere he's gone, from ESPN the first time to Fox to CNN to MSNBC to Current.
