Fishing?

Any fisherman on board here?
It's kind of funny for me, since I tried to find wrestling fans on a fishing forum I spend a lot of time on. That led me to search for and find this forum.

So in a twist, I am wondering if there are any fisherman (or women) on this wrestling forum.

If so, what kind of fish do you normally target? Do you fish in rivers or lakes?
What kind of differences do you encounter if fishing in different countries?

I have spent the past year teaching myself to fish in the rivers around where I live. I had not used an artificial lure in 25 years, but was convinced to pick it back up. 2012 proved to be an interesting learning experience. I am looking forward to using new tactics in 2013.

Re: Fishing?

I'm a rookie, only gone three times, but its only cause of curent life , if I had the choice I'd do it more.

I catch bass and well that's it, nothing major but real fun the few times I did it, once I get the chance it may come a regular thing.

Re: Fishing?

I'll still call myself a rookie, or better yet a novice. The past year had its ups and downs. At this point I still don't really target any particular species. Mostly I am just trying to catch anything that bites, which right now tends to be bass and sauger. With the occasional surprise catfish (on a crankbait).

Been really itchy waiting for the temps to go up.
