And damn it Ronnie, it's "up and down like a bride's nightie"! Little more classy, and saves that troublesome "whores drawers" sound.

Hawkins' safety play is the best I've seen, fella seemed to leave the white glued to the far cushion every time he tried.

Certainly didn't yesterday. The worst example was leaving the black over the top corner pocket for Ronnie to go in 10-7 and not 9-8.

His positional play let him down so much. Virgo was in shock so often.

I can understand why people don't like Ronnie but I can't help but admire his talent. To win that after a year off is insane. The field must be really embarrassed.

Re: Snooker/pool thread.

My bad then, I'm not a big follower of Snooker but I caught the last few days in places, and of the times I *was* watching, I kept finding reason to comment on Hawkins ability to keep coming up flush to the cushion to leave his opponent a full table's length of a shot with minimum white visibility.

I don't think there is many people who like his personality. He's probably one of the biggest twats to ever play the game. But he is also arguably the best talent wise so he is naturally gonna get loads of fans.

I like watching him play but don't really like to see him win, but he deserves his success.

What do people make of trump? to me he comes off as an arrogant twat with an ever growing ego and a silly haircut to go with it.

Re: Snooker/pool thread.

At first I liked Trump. He was young, promising prospect. Then he became an arrogant bitch.

I accept rep.

Re: Snooker/pool thread.

Trump said himself that people have an impression of him enjoying the lifestyle too much after he beat Murphy. He's simply taken his foot off the gas since his major wins and let it get to his head. He needs a reaction, and it looked like he meant it after that Murphy win that he wants to prove people wrong.

Re: Snooker/pool thread.

Trump is my second favourite player, behind Higgins atm. But recently I think he became overconfident for a time. Not giving his opponents as much respect as he should. But then he realised he wasn't going to win many tournaments doing that and I think he is over it.

Trump is very talented but again he seems flawed to me

What do you mean when you say 'flawed'?
